I wasn’t always in the position of being able to help others get started in real estate investing. I started from zero, knowing nothing and jumping off into the deep end.
Seriously… just five years ago I was working in the mental health field, being drained everyday, living paycheck to paycheck, wondering if my life will ever change, and attempting to get into real estate investing — except I had no idea how to:
Find properties off market
Talk to sellers
Analyze deals and inspect for red flags
Structure offers creatively to create win-win situations
Create the life I wanted through real estate investing…
So I educated myself by enrolling in courses, found mentors, and put myself into situations where I knew I could learn while working until I was able to confidently purchase my very first duplex to house hack.
My first duplex allowed me to live close to rent free and gave me an opportunity to fix it up, force appreciation and nearly triple my initial investment when I sold it.
